You will need administrator priviledges on your computer to be able to install most of the items in the list below. This will not be a problem on your own computer. If you are at work then your IM&T department will be willing to install them for you.
Adobe FlashPlayer This is a small download that will give you access to all sorts of extra functionality.
Adobe Reader This download will enable you to view PDF (Portable Document Files) on your computer. (N.B. this does not enable you to edit them).
Microsoft Silverlight This is a new mediaplayer from microsoft. This will be the underlying technology for Doctors TV.
Sun OpenOffice Sun Microsystems has created OpenOffice to help create, read and share Microsoft Office file types for free using the OpenSource platform.
Javascript Most PCs have this installed as standard through their web browsers. Most websites rely on it to one degree or another. If you can see the image on the left, then JavaScript is enabled on your system.
